Adrenaline in 2012

Today, I started to remember the best moments passed in 2012. Some people think that the old things are left behind with the new year. However, I am convinced that all events (good or bad) that happen to us are part of our growth. Also, meditate is the only tool that allows us to examine the past, to understand our present and will make us better people in the future. So there should be no reason to erase the memories. Hereby, I wish to share with you some of the last year pictures to give you an idea about the experiences I had, many were excellent and others more challenging. But, no one said that there are easy steps to succeed. Life is an adventure and I show you some of mine!!!

One Voice Summit in Washington D.C.

November 16-19

One Voice Summit

I received training about the importance of the Real Healthy Youth Education Act (HR 3324/S.1782). This legislation provides that young people can receive comprehensive sex education so they can make informed, responsible and healthy. There are no scientific data to prove the success of the abstinence education programs only. However, statistics demonstrate that sex education provides alternatives adapted to the reality we live, promotes the prevention of pregnancy in young girls and sexually transmitted diseases. Sex education is a right that young peoplehave and this bill helps us access to this information. In conclusion, it was an extraordinary experience for my professional growth. At the same time, was an exellent initiative to step forward and evolve on the issue of sex education and youth sexual rights. I’m grateful with Sierra Club for awarding me as a fellow.
